My family and I are considering moving to the Miami area this summer, and I need some advice as to where to buy a home. My wife would be attending graduate school at the University of Miami in Coral Gables. I'm assuming that I'd probably find a job in or near downtown Miami. Where are good, SAFE places to live that are within, say, a 40-minute commute of both these locations? I have two small children, so I'd like to be in an area with good schools (a concern from what I've heard about Miami), and that provides age-appropriate activities, such as swimming lessons at a county pool, children's ballet, playgrounds, etc. Also, I can spend around $550,000-$650,000 on a home. I guess I'm looking for a good place for upper-middle-class working families. Part of the problem is that I don't know what traffic is like, and how long it will take to get around during rush hour. For instance, would Pembroke Pines be too far? What about Sweetwater or Olympia Heights?

My son is almost a year old...

I want to phase out bottles shortly, but he won't take a sippy (?) cup all the time. What can I do?

All he has a pacifier and I want to phase that out of the picture. Any ideas? I don't want him to be a 3yr old still sucking a pacifier.

Potty training will have to wait... lol at least until he can walk

Over the past 6 months I have gone through debilitatating back pain and disability. Yes it was of course hard on my husband since I became a bitter and angry person but he has gotten in the habit of putting me down verbally. I have come so far and feel so much better after having surgery in December but he still puts me down all the time. I don't do enough in bed for him, I am dumb, I am irrwsponsible etc. Today he lost my keys and so I became angry that he prevented me from 1. Dropping our daughter off at school and 2. Preventing me from going to my physical therapy (that I desperately need to feel okay) So I became angry and was avoiding him because of my anger and I got a message on my machine saying he hopes I never make it to P. therapy ever again, that he doesn't feel sorry for me and then I go this email. CAn't find your keys, can't go to pt appt., I feel so bad for you Not
Am I just a pathetic girl with low self esteem to stay with this jerk or am I being oversensitve?

I'm only 30 and I'm getting pretty noticeably gray around the temples. I realize this isn't a disaster or anything, but I'm just curious ... is it more dignified to have a little gray and accept it, or to artificially color it and have the hair color "match" your age a little better?

Opinions welcome. You can even give me hell about being old, I don't care.

it is no use just saying oh yes so what mathematics makes my pc work so i can post this msg The point is logically calculus is llogical and by the standard of logic can not be true if it is in self-contradiction. Therefore how it works becomes a complete mystery seing by the accepted standard of truth ie logic it is not true. This is one one reason why this author says mathematics is mreaningless
