We met at a seminar and hit it off right away. She has already spent a week with me in hawaii and was able to carry conversations with my older business partners. Plus she's just a freakin knockout in the looks dept...but is the age difference too much?

Personally I don't think so. You are both at a point in life to where age is just another number. If you are attracted to her and she is all that you desire then who cares about her age. Like you stated, she is mature enough. Besides, it's not that big of an age difference compared to what I've seen. There's a difference from a women in her 20 somethings who acts childish versus mature. And her maturity level has everything to do with how well you two get along. So I say go for it and never mind those people who stick their nose in your business. Nine times out of ten they are just jealous anyways. I mean, how many men would love to have a young knockout hanging on their arm? Good Luck & God Bless!

My daughter will be 20 tomorrow. As a Mom of a 20 year old, I cringe at the thought of her being with a man in his 30's, but then again, I would rather her be with a man in his 30's that treated her well and loved her, then a guy her age that treated her badly or used her. So, are you a good guy? Do you recognize her for the beauty she has within and not just the outer shell? Will you love her and treat her well? Is your interest in her just lust, or does it go beyond this? All these things make a difference in the answer to your question.

If the two of you are on the same page mentally, then ROCK ON!!! As long as you do realize that she may come to some of her 20 year old senses a bit later on down the road and want to party and do all the crazy things we 20 year olds wanna do. Just ensure that she's aware of the relationship she's getting into and it's something she's interested in ... other than that ... Have fun man!! The girl sounds amazing!!!

If you don't think so, and she doesn't think so, who cares? You're both adults. I'm with someone 11 years older, but I think anything up to 20 years difference is reasonable. And what I think doesn't matter either--I'm sure there are some happy couples who are more than 20 years apart.

UNLESS you have a daughter her age. That would be terrible for the daughter.

What does age have to do with anything? Isn't the important question about feelings and desires? When you say is it alright to date someone older than you who are you asking? What does it matter what anyone else thinks? You have a mind of your own and you have feelings of your own. Does she like you or love you? Is she happy with you and are you happy with her? Is the age factor something that bothers her? Why does it bother you if it doesn't bother her? Why should you let the age factor bother you at all if you think so much of her? Ask yourself these questions.

Problems could arise because of the difference age, however I have a 21 year old friend who has been happily dating (and is now engaged to) a 34 year old guy. Age is truly nothing but a number.

well 10 years different. Sometimes it does make a difference sometimes not . depends on the two people . Girls mature faster than men sometimes lol. So if she doesnt mind and you dont mind i dont see anything wrong with it. Actually she is already an adult

Sure, age shouldn't matter, just don't have this relationship for the wrong reasons. You might hurt her, her intelligence may be older, but her experience is probably less than yours in the relationship department, be delicate with her!
