The implication behind this question is that sometimes there are decisions that you have to make where you must decide if what you want to do (achieve) is more important than the effect your actions will have on those around you friends and family)

If your friends and family are holding you back from achieving, then you should get new friends and adopt a new family. I am quite serious about this. Of course, for some people having friends and family IS an achievement they're working toward. So it goes both ways, sometimes.

It's a subjective question. Most people are not driven to achieve, thus they find satisfaction in relationships (Friends and Family) and end up living off the achievements of those who make the descision to accimplish things in life.

people are classified by their character...character is built with your achievements...but remember...a failure can also be an achievement...
