I love the logo. It's very simple, not distracting. Easy to print, etc. I personally don't think it matters if the logo conveys what it's for. I think logos should be totally random like you have. The other dude is right though, too much whitespace between the logo and the surrounding box. The logo itself is cool, but it's placement is horrible.

Logo design is very simple and effective, however, it doesn't provide any other information such as what it stands for and what it means. What do you want it to portray when it's viewed? What do you want people to think of when they see it? Unless you plan on making your website very well-known, no one will know who you are.

area around circle with letters is far too large and detracts from the main part of the logo.
