I've been taking OTC naproxen (2 tablets) twice daily for pain and inflammation resulting from a C6-C7 herniation. My doctor has now put me on a 6-day pack of methylprednisolone, a steroid, and she said I don't need to take the naproxen anymore.

Unfortunately, without the naproxen, I can't get through the day very well because of the pain. (I'm also taking tylenol, but no other pain meds except for vicodin - one pill at night only.)

Nothing in the product information for the methylprednisolone says I can't take it with NSAIDs like naproxen. Is there any reason I can't continue to take the naproxen while on the methylprednisolone?

Hi i have a almost 3 month old cavalier king charles called oliver ,i am taking him out every hour to the toilet ,can you tell me please what age will he be to go all night without going to the toilet, i currently leave newspaper at one side of his cage because i dont want to disturb him during the night and he thinks play time ,he is doing really well only had a few accidents but he is only little,i dont tell him off when he does that i just clean it up while he watches me,so i think he knows bless him,and has anyone ever heard of choice pet food ,is it any good ,i was told it was for that breed of dog? thankyou for your time

We have told eachother "I love you" and she seems to be happy with the relationship...but I feel that I have lost the spark that I once had for her. When we used to hang out I would get that feeling in the pit of my stomach..I was excited to be in her company...it was thrilling.....however now I feel I have lost that feeling. She doesn't give me the feeling she once did. I now feel almost too comfortable around her. I don't feel I have to entertain her anymore and our interactions are getting less FUN. Will I end up falling in love with her or is this relationship going nowhere? Am I doing something wrong?

I have this weird bump that came pretty much out of no where. I have heard many things of what it could be. A boil, a cyst, just a huge pimple. I am freaking out about it cause I have no idea what it is! It's scary to me! Its probably around the size of my fingernail but the bump is under my skin. On the surface its red and looks kind of scabby and dry. It doesnt really hurt but it's kind of sore to the touch. It doesnt itch or anything. I have no idea! Does anyone know what this hard red bump is!?!

About 2 months ago my sister brought home an abandoned kitten. We took her to the vet that day and had all the tests run before we brought her home. But since then, my 14 year old cat started getting really red and irritated skin on her chin. Every day that goes by it gets worse. And the more I try to clean it, the worse it seems to get. I took her to the vet to get her teeth cleaned last week and asked them about her chin. They said it was feline acne and gave me some antibiotics to give her. I've barely seen a change in it. Could my little cat have given her something or is the little cat annoying my older one enough to be causing stress, thus causing the acne? The older cat has never had skin problems before and I feed them out of glass bowls that I clean very often. It seems to me like I need to put something topical on it, to help heal the scabs. Please help? Also, since the antibiotics, my older cat has had bad diarria. Is that normal? Thanks!
