Well, funny you should ask. I was just talking with my good ole friend Sam and that was the first question I asked him. He first came up with some cute answers like:
"I was trying to copy Willy Wonka" or "I wanted to confuse people into thinking I went to the gay-side because I heard they had cookies" or "I wanted to feel like I was royalty"
In the end he was only wanting to promote Women's History Month. He really went all out today with not only the purple hat but about every stitch on his body was purple...even his shoes and boxers. Seems funny, but Sam is always trying to be an active member in society, helping in anyway that he can. You will catch him in pink for breast cancer awareness or any other color to promote that cause if he deems it worthy. Since about every month seems to have a week or the entire month to honor or spread public awareness, Sam is always busy trying to aid each cause. So next time you see him don't forget to congratulate him on his hard efforts although he is "only doing what any noble person would."
