I find it very hard to justify how a faithful and good husband, good father who cater and plan the needs of his family in case he died could possibly say he love his wife when he harbour such thought.

I trained for about 2-1/2 years in the Bujinkan and attained a rank of 4th kyu; however, a car wreck and degenerative disk disease caused me to stop training in 2000, and, after much pain and physical therapy, I wish to take it up again now. I am 41 and probably about 10 lbs. heavier than my previous fighting weight. I have spent about 7-8 months in physical training, i.e. swimming, physical therapy exercises, some weightlifting, and practicing solitary basics (punch, kick, roll, kata), and I have just approached a dojo about resuming training. I am still in constant low-level pain, but I am determined to train, as I don't think the pain will ever lessen, and I am not getting any younger. Are there pitfalls I should watch out for, both physically and mentally? I wish to train, but I do not wish to be quickly re-injured to where I must sit out for months and perhaps never get started again. Thanks for your suggestions!

For the last couple of years my roomate has not been able to pay his rent on time and i'm not really sure what to do about it. My roomate works for a grocery chain and this started two years ago when they had that big union strike, i was leanient back then because he wasn't employed consistently and he was trying to find other work and make money where he could. Now nearly two years later the strike has long been over and he still rarely pays on time. Usually just when I start to get fed up he will pay me on time for 2-3 months and then it stops again.

This month he has yet to pay his rent but says I will have it this week. A couple of things really piss me off, he recently bought a new car which is stupid if you can't pay the rent on time. I also suspect that he bought a snowboard and went snowboarding this month instead of paying the rent.

He is a long time friend of mine and I don't want to just kick him out and I don't want to have to find a new one, what should I do??
