The socialist Scandanavian countries always have very low murder and crime rates. Since Sudan and Iraq have civil wars going, those deaths are typically not classified as murder.

For true murder numbers, I would wager the USA is one of the highest in the world.

Iraq and Sudan have to up there at the moment. All I know is the ones with the lowest have the most atheists in them.
