a utopian society can be thought of as an abstract counterpart of absolute democracy, and neither of them exist nor will, for the understandable self-serving nature of mankind.

a society where every one is happy and it sdoesn't work. there are a whole bunch of books and short stories about it, mostly sci-fi.
