The Monte Cristo sandwich is the best! This spectacular sandwich consists of two slices of bread containing ham, turkey and a slice of Swiss cheese and then dipped in beaten egg and fried in butter. Maple syrup or jelly is usually provided on the side for dipping. Yummy!

I prefer eating what my husband calls 'krisandwiches' ... just the filling with no bread. I'll do that with any kind of food except for one: peanut butter and jam. I HAVE TO HAVE BREAD to eat that, so for me, at least, that's the 'best' sandwich.

Hmm, the world would be a better place if everybody had a good cheddar grilled cheese made with thick slices of sourdough bread atleast once a month.

OK this is going to sound really gross but it's my favorite. Try peanut butter, dill pickle and mustard. My 9th grade teacher told us about it (back about 127 years ago) and I tried it. It is good. The flavors sort of merge into something that works.

Ham, pepperoni, salami, provolone or mozzerella, lettuce, tomato, onions, Italian dressing or mayo. It's great....especially if you heat the meat and melt the cheese first!
