" sadly missed" "devoted father" "loving son" "gone but not forgotten" what about the truth. died of a drug overdose, cheated on her husband for years. abusede his children lost the housekeeping in the betting shop. overeater, drunkard, suffered from untreated alcoholism..died because she was a bad beggar.shot for selling drugs. why are there all these obsessive one liners on headstones?

Surely the highlight of any managers career is to be remembered for winning major trophies or by bringing pride to your country. Surely to walk out on your country during a tight and succesful qualifying campaign to takeover a club in major turmoil with no immeadiate hope of success is disgraceful behaviour for one of the so called senior figures of Scottish football.

I have seen a laptop which has a good price with a core duo processor by intel and 1gb of ram , however the screen is 14" and not the average 15.?" screen. Does anybody have any opinion on this?
I have noticed that many laptops are expensive and have these size screens , so some busines professionals must prefer it because it is lighter, but I would never take mine outside of my home. Also the speakers on it (it is a gateway) are not very good I dont think, not like the Altec lansing speakers on Compaq or HP. But it is a good price.

I already now how to batch convert the images to a specific size i just cant get them to go side by side. If you know of a program or quick method to do this please help.

I have asked a number of questions pointing out anomalies in the evolutionary hypothesis. E.g. evidence that the earth is young, that coal is not old, that dinosaurs lived recently, etc.

A lot of people seem only able to reply with ad hominem insults, without any reference to the actual evidence I discuss.

Why do so many people claim to hold scientific views, yet demonstrably hold bigoted religious views, dismissing a priori anyone that disagrees with their philosophy.

Have people forgotten the scientific method?

I bought a Portable DVD player in the US the power supply says input: 100-240V does that mean it will work in US & UK if i just use a 2-3 pin adapter? i would assume since it says the input can be 240V it should be ok... but wouldnt want to fry my DVD player on an assumption

Okay, let's call it a 'chudder.' My cat 'chudders' when she enters the room, sometimes. Occasionally there's a notable 'brrrrp!' a moment before she's going to jump, from behind, onto the desk I'm sitting at, or there'll be a few little chirps while she's on her way over for a petting.

But, sometimes, it's just a quiet, brief announcement. "I'm in the same room as you." I say hello in return, and apparently that's all that's required.

She always comes over as well if she wants petting, so I'm at a loss to understand why she cares if I know she's nearby. I find it charming, and I'm thoroughly curious.
