can i use use a US AC Power-pack in UK?

I bought a Portable DVD player in the US the power supply says input: 100-240V does that mean it will work in US & UK if i just use a 2-3 pin adapter? i would assume since it says the input can be 240V it should be ok... but wouldnt want to fry my DVD player on an assumption

You can use it with just the UK plug adapter.

if you have an adapter for the UK it will be OK.
