from what it seems like yea. but i noticed when I choose someones answer who didn't star me they usually star me.. I don't really judge that way though. I give best answer to who had the best answer.. but maybe this thing is fixed!

YES! I have a similar question still open because I am waiting for someone to give it a star. Then I will pick their answer as best. I hate the new stars. I liked the old thumbs up and down. Some questions deserve a thumbs down. Enjoy your star.

no, I don't believe so. I don't pay attention to the stars until after I voted so it's fair. I always try to chose the answer that suits my personality and the question. Naturally if it is a fact based question it would have to go to the person who answered it correctly, but a creative answer is more helpful, rather then bland drool details like this one. hey you awake or did this put you asleep, wake up wake up!!
