I can't really answer this, but I can tell you having a period for a month after quitting depo isn't all that uncommon. Her body is just realigning itself.

I had a period from Feb 18 to June 20 with only 5 days of no bleeding and they were NOT consecutive days. The only reason the period stopped was because I went into hospital for surgery to remove a dead ovary. Mind you, this was also after a FULL hysterectomy 2 years previously.

As for the killing herself bit...well I can understand that. Bleeding for as long as I did was enough to make me want to do it. However, my situation was extreme and I seriously doubt your sister is having the same issues.

If your sister is concerned, tell her to take herself off to a doctor for a checkup.

I would suggest that your sister sees a doctor as soon as possible and go to the ER.
Women should not have a period more than 7 days really, anything longer could be a sign of something else. Chances are, your sister isnt even having her period if she's been bleeding for a month now.

i would suggest going to the gyn about this, but as long as it is a light flow then it should be fine to last for a month.

Sound irregular, she should really go see a gynocologist, soon.
