A Welshman an Englishman and a Irishman were being chased by Farmer Giles with a shotgun. After 10 minutes of running they spotted a barn and ran inside.



Once inside they each hid in a old sack against the barn wall. The farmer went into the barn but did not see where they went, he was about to turn back when he saw three suspicious looking sacks. He walked forward and prodded the first sack with his gun. The Englishman inside said...''Meow''.



"Just cats," he thought.



He then prodded the second sack. The Welshman, hearing how the Englishman got off said....''woof''.



"Just dogs," he thought.



As he walked towards the last sack, the Irishman worked out what he was going to say. As soon as the farmer prodded his sack he said.....''potatoes!''

I don’t know if it is appropriate to express my feelings to others. The thing is, I am asked my opinion on a daily basis, such as “Do I look fat,” and “Do you love me?” The thing is I really have no feelings for anyone around me. Seriously. I have problems with relating to people and feel no remorse after “hurting” someone’s feelings. That’s why I cheat on my boyfriend almost every day. On more than one occasion people have told me I was the reason they have cried themselves to sleep. My own best-friend once said I was heartless. I don’t understand if I should just shun these people away from me, try to change, or keep making fun of them. They are all really ugly. I need a solution immediately.

He just sits on the computer day in day out. Asks if he can go out I tell him no its late and he sits and argues and argues then gets mad. If I do not have bus fare for him he gets madder then says well I am going out anyway and leaves. He was just missing for 6 days got home last night brought by the police. Help

Atheists often put the onus on Christians to prove that God doesn't exist. Our very existence should be proof that God exists. Besides which, we have many testimonies that He does. Is there any proof that He doesn't? Is it even possible to proove that no God exists?

In the NBA Standings... you know... where they have the columns: W, L, PCT, GB, CONF, DIV, HOME, ROAD, L 10, STREAK...
Is anyone able to explain sufficiently what each of these mean, and what the figures under each title represent? I don't quite understand what those numbers mean either. (Well... except W and L... that one is obvious for me)

My friend is converting for her seventh day guy but I feel that he is a hypocrite. He tells her to change all her "bad" ways, yet he is doing all kinds of things that are borderline, and claims to be a saint. He always hides behind his religion. How strict is Seventh Day and can one marry someone and NOT pressure them?

young people are taking the Viagra, Enzyte, etc., that have no diabetes or anything wrong with their abilities. That they are taking it for sport? Do you feel that this should be treated with concern for the morals here in America, and politically work this out that a person with no physical problems should be taking these pills ever? The study does show side effects from over use and they have no long term knowledge (guinea pigs) of the effects of these pills either. Sex is a drug in itself, and it is being promoted like a prostitute, instead it is in pill form and the pharmeceutical companies are cleaning up? shouldn't we be able to get our high blood pressure pills over the counter? And any other drug that is so necessary that we could die without them? Rather than pay enormous amounts for these pills? A doctor's cost and the prescription? Pharmaceutical companies are standing in the way of our health programs as well. And they are dictating with government what we can or can't have

I regret it and admit it was immature but like a year or 2 ago, i pretended i was a guy and tryed to get naked pics of girls i guess i was going through that curiousity stage where you think you could be bi because you get turned on by girls which i wouldn't do it now! I don't have anything against people like that but it's not for me but anyways or i would just pretend i was a guy and get normal pictures or just talk to a girl and pretend to be a guy and be all nice to get information out of them like if i was with a guy to see if he is a player or to see what she said about me or to see if they would cheat and tell their boyfriend! At work, my responsibilities require me to travel to another company to complete various business transactions. I often deal with a particular girl who works at the other company. Sometimes I feel a vibe when I talk to her, but I always dismiss it as mere fanciful thought. Today, my coworker tells me that he's been feeling the 'vibe' for some time, and only when she talks to me and no one else. "She digs you," were his exact words.

1. how do I know "she digs" me? the signs?

2. She and I, at this juncture, are persuing different goals. She is a student at a renowned university, while I work full time at a subsitance wage while taking college courses at night. She has a good chance at financial success, while I may be doomed to a lesser success. Should I persue this relationship? Would it be fair to her?

Also I will be promoted soon and my duties will change. I will not see her again if I do not act soon-- within one business day.

I'm Dutch, my girlfriend is Romanian. In a few months we will move to the USA, because we wanna raise our kids in a language we both speak, English.

I have visited the US a few times, and actually liked it, a lot. But my last visit is years ago.

Being here on Y!A in the R+S section continues to give me the impression that the US these days is like a society filled with religious fundamentalists who attack any different opinion on life. And that was far from the impression I had from visiting the country.

Has the US changed a lot? Or is Y!A nothing more than a schoolyard filled with shouted craziness, and has nothing to do with the actual society?

I go to work everyday and come home at night. My beagle was the only one left inside the house..so when i came home, everything was a disaster! my sofa,shoes..everything. I already tried to put him on his cage, but he kept on barking and didn't like to be there. I live in a condo, and it's a shame if he keeps on making a noise. Please help..i hope it's not too late.

my girlfriend is 19 years old and she has a 2 year old son. I love my girlfriend more than anything, weve been dating for almost a year and a half now. Her son is so irritating though. Everytime she puts him down he cries. Hes constantly getting in our bed at night and laying on top of me which wakes me up. He always wants to be on my lap or something. I didnt really hate him until the other day when he called me daddy. It sounds sweet but it disgusted me !!!! We cant even have sex anymore without him interupting us !! Ever since they got that new head coach, the St. Louis Blues (the Royals of hockey) have all the sudden put the best team in hockey to shame (Anaheim) and are on a seven game unbeaten streak, one game under five hundred, and eight points out of a playoff spot!! I have lived in St. Louis my whole life and have never, ever sat and watched a hockey game voluntarily. Until tonight. They're playing with so much heart and ferocity, it's hard to count them out. It's the spirit and magic of St. Louis. The Cardinals did it, now it's the Blues turn. How far do ya'll think they'll make it?
