my girlfriend is 19 years old and she has a 2 year old son. I love my girlfriend more than anything, weve been dating for almost a year and a half now. Her son is so irritating though. Everytime she puts him down he cries. Hes constantly getting in our bed at night and laying on top of me which wakes me up. He always wants to be on my lap or something. I didnt really hate him until the other day when he called me daddy. It sounds sweet but it disgusted me !!!! We cant even have sex anymore without him interupting us !! I dont know what to do about it what do you think ?

How can you say you love your girlfriend and not love something that is such a big part of her. You are being selfish, he is just a little kid. He doesn't know better, you've been there for most of his live so to him you are a father figure and you have to decide if you want to be that or not. If you really LOVE your girlfriend you need to make an effort to get along with her kid, If you can't then you might have to end that relationship because she is not going to neglect her son for you.

What do you want to hear? This child is seeking nothing more then any child seeks - attention and pleasure.
You have two choices here. Either learn about children so that you can learn to love this one, or leave her now so that you don't cause her and her child future pain. You are not ready to be a father and unfortunately, no man her age would be.
Sex. That's what your question comes down to. You can get sex elsewhere, there's no need to suck an innocent child into the complexities of your hormones.
What does it come down to? Just how selfish are you?

You need to find a way to deal with a 2 year old...or the 2 year old needs to learn how to deal with a whinny baby.
Grow up nd be the adult.
If you do not like her son how can you be a Daddy to him.
He needs a Daddy. There are so many kids born now days that do not have a Daddy. Sperm Donner yes. Daddy, Father, someone to love them, teach them and watch them grow it just makes me so mad.
Both my girls got pregnant by their boy friends, after that they were not their boy friend anymore. They turned their backs on the girls and the kids. Now it is up to me and my husband to take care of them. Which is fine for me. The boys would not even have their names on the birth certificate. Which is fine with me too...that means I do not have to give them any rights to their child. Since both girls live with us they can not get government assistance...which is fine with me also.
So my point is...
be the Father he needs
or get your butt out of his life.
..he does not need to remember yet another man walking out on him.
Good luck finding a girl that wants to have your baby!!

You are really in a tough situation. Sounds like it is time for you to move on. This poor little child, obviously, has not had a father figure nor much discipline Sounds like she has allowed him to get into bed with her at night time, etc.which may not be a problem with her. If you feel this way now, it is time to move on for your sake, her sake and definitely the child's sake.

Whats wrong with you anyway? How can you hate a little boy shame on you. He looks up to you and looks to you for protection safety and a father figure. If I were your girlfriend I would show you the door, she had him when you met her and he is not going away so man up to it or find someone without children

Obviously you aren't ready for a child. Her child is always going to be there, at the very least for the next 16 years, so unless you're willing to wait you are going to have to move on or learn to love the booger and deal with it.

Why are you having sex in front of this child. Sounds like you are both trash to me.
Men should not be sleeping over, this chick needs her head checked. She should be focusing on getting her act together instead of parading men in her bed in front of her young son, who will now most likely grow up to hate women thanks to her.

I dont think that this relationship is healthy for anyone in the picture.You,the girlfriend,and especially not for the child.I think that it is unlikley that this relationship will last,It is probably best to get out before some one is hurt.If you really love her,let her go.(I have personal experiance in this situation.)
