Definitely, a misfit. I hated high school. In grade and middle school, I was the teacher's pet.

In primary school, definately a Misfit, until one of my last days there before college, a fill-in teacher explained to the entire class: "The attitude and outlook of your first days in college will set the course for your entire future. Correct it Now! before its too late!"
I took that warning and changed in an instant and my years in college saw me somewhat kind of a teachers pet and a student with high grades and acheivements - and certainly took on an attitute that other students oppinions of me didn't matter - However, yes, it was tough. I now have an excellent career that is extremely financially sucessful as a blue collar worker. My advice to anyone out there is to do now what you percieve will benifit you in the future - Its worth it.

Totally a teacher's pet! We had two groups -- either you were college bound (about 5 of us) and that made us automatically teacher's pets, and the rest were bound to the country life of factories and minimum wage jobs.
The college bound group did all the foot work for everything in the school -- yearbook staff, newspaper, clubs, etc., and the others drank. It was just that simple!
