What is the safest way of discarding of broken glass or glass items...such as old light bulbs, mirrors, etc? I've always wrapped items in newspaper and put them in a box or something.

I got a cutting of this plant from a friend who doesn't know what it is, it isn't in any of our plant books. It consists of several thin stems, creamy coloured and 6-7 inches long. At the end of each one there are three purple triangle leaves, which may be better describes as bracts and are about 2 inches wide at the widest part which is furthest away from the stem. It has no other leaves. When it flowers it has small pale flowers. There isn't any green on the plant (maybe it isn't supposed to look like that), and it looks like something from an alien landscape on Star Trek.
Someone asked a similar question 5 months ago, but the answers they received (trillium or oxalis) don't resemble it at all. Personally I think it is a clump of baby triffids, but I would appreciate any sensible answers about what it might be.

Hi all... Please help...During ugly arguments with my partner I sometimes burst out laughing.. It is not because I find it funny... or am laughing at him but it is a reaction I can not control.. I try hard to stop myself as he's gets really angry and aggressive......but can not help it.. We generally are not able to communicate well... somehow it always turns into an argument even though I can't see a reason why.. as we are grownups.. I feel my hysterical laugh is unability to deal with his anger and aggression.. but he doesn't believe me.. He trully believes I laugh at him..in his face.. Actually I am in a satete and trully scared... Advice please

My baby girl has been allowed to sleep in bed with us two times, accidentally. I have noticed that when she sleeps in bed with us, she'll sleep all night long, but if she's in her crib, bouncer, swing or bassinet, she'll only sleep a few hours at a time. We've tried putting my shirt in her crib, putting her to bed with a warm water bottle for the warmth, warming the spot where she lays with a heating pad and playing a heartbeat for her. She just won't sleep deeply anywhere else but in bed with both of us. I know she's young and isn't likely to be spoiled, but my boyfriend is 7 ft. and over 400 lbs and I'm not a lightweight myself, just having given birth and all, so I don't want her to cosleep with us, as it's not safe enough for her. Plus, our bed is just a matress on the floor for now, so we can't get one of those bedside crib things. Any other suggestions for a mom whose baby has been up her butt for three days straight now? Lol...

Just got a 50" plasma tv but don't have any accessories except the HDMI cable that connects to my Hi-Def DVD player. I have basic cable but plan to get digital cable very soon (next week). The tv has a built-in tuner to pick up HDTV but I'm not sure what that means? Don't I need an antenna for that? I've see an HDTV Digital Receiver at Best Buy - do I need one of those? Thanks for the help!

Hi i am 18 yrs old and have always been close to my one of my female cousins is also my age only 19 so a few months older.She got married her senior year of highschool and got pregnant 3 months into her marriage.She is entierly dependent on her husband who is also the same age to work and go to school because of her new born.I saw her hubby makingout with another girl and his hand up her skirt.I took a pic of it but i am not sure if i want to show it too my cousin.I am also 100% sure this was her hubby.I dont know if she is ready to see or hear the truth?
