this location is on privately owned land and never ben dug into.is there any way to profit from this discovery?

Do you have permission to be there? If not, then you can't "profit" legally; If I were you, I'd get the owner's "OK" to be there (in writing) and also put in a paragraph that if you find anything you'll split the profits 50-50; also, be very careful with disturbing anything; depending on what state you live in, you might be in big trouble if you actually have found a site and destroyed or profited from it...I'd contact the local university Anthropology dept. and see if one of the department heads wants to authenticate your find...don't start digging and selling stuff on EBAY-you could honestly go to jail...

Call the University and aske them to certified it is indeed a prehistoric settlement. Then sell tickets to see it.
