Yes, dating doesn't mean having sex with someone, it means being with someone who's company you enjoy. I have had two friends who have succumbed to HIV, love them both and spent a lot of time with them both. I don't base my friendships with people on stupidity.

Well, first if you would like to have kids with this guy you would have to be sure that you use protection, many women end up with HIV or something else because their guy is too afraid to turn down the oppurtunity to get it on with Her. Well, in my opinion, Since im a guy, you should not date a HIV positive man if you want great kids without the risk of them needing certain medicines.

I will say that this would depend on if I loved the person.. If I was with someone just in dating and I fell for the person and they told me that they had hiv I honestly would still be with that person... I do believe that real love is way more about the love that you share with a person verses the sex you can experience with them... I would love them anyways and sacrifice the sex to have that eternal love with them :) :) :)

I don't know if this can relate but, I kind of feel that it can cause HPV is a virus too with no cure. =)
I have HPV and my boyfriend (who didn't give it to me) still continued dating me (3months ago) and now we have been very happy with No problems. We use protection.

I think that if you're careful then you should be okay...

No, because I'm married. But, if I wasn't married I would consider it if the person and I had a strong connection and chemistry.

I hate to say this but I wouldn't... I would feel like my life would be limited.. and honestly I would constantly have my guard up and that wouldn't be fair to me or the person that I would be dating...
