New Taxi Driver

A man in a taxi cab taps the driver on the shoulder to ask him a question. The driver screams bloody murder, loses control of the cab, and swerves onto the sidewalk before stopping just inches from a lamppost.

After checking to make sure the passenger is OK, the driver says "I'm sorry, but you scared the daylights out of me!"

"Sorry. I didn't realize a simple tap on the shoulder would freak you out so much," the passenger says.

"It's not your fault," replies the cabbie.

"Today is my first day on the job after 25 years of driving a hearse."

I have sharp pain in my ears, doctor told me it`s because of tmj, he has started straightening my teeth , may be it`s soon but I guess it`s not working, I`ve read many people use splints and it really works,does any body has any idea what should i do? i almost can`t do anything... fortunately it`s just my left ear or else i couldn`t survive!

Anyone knows the safe Jaundice level for babies. My boy(1month old) is G6PD Deficiency, hence has jaundice. Visited the doctor today, SB level was at 163. Doctor said baby is fine, not at critical level. But still needs observations. We as parents, feels worry for him. A little baby after all. Can anyone provide info or advices? Thanks.

I have an essay to write about TIR. This is the question and topic. TIR= The Industrial Revoloution.

During TIR an author by the name of Horatio Alger wrote stories of people rising from "rags to riches." People saw proof of it in men like Andrew Carnegie and John D. Rockefeller. Why do you think most Americans looked at these "Captians of Industry as heroes, when most factory workers during the late 19th century were exploited by the likes of Carnegie and Rockefeller?

So i need to write a 3-5 paragraph essay on this. Any ideas or input in what i could say in it? Please help, this is for AP History. I really need to raise my grade. I am starting to write it now. Thanks!

Hello, I need some hair style ideas for my wedding. I'm black but when I look in black mags, they are mainly "coloured" "wild" and "crazy" styles that I don't think are appropriate for a wedding besides, they're not my style. My friends have suggestied looking in mainstream magazines rather than looking in "Black Hair". I've had a look at these and I like a lot of the styles however my hair is not that long. I may have to put in a weave to give it some lenght. Any ideas??? Pls send websites links to hairstyles with pictures. Thanks

My daughter who is 18 and from texas was arrested last Thursday for possesion of a controlled substance, xanax (zanex) less than 18 grams a class A misdemeanor 1.) I was wondering why they can be legally purchased over the internet without a prescription for the exact same thing she had in her possesion?
2.) there were 2 other boys that were arrested that was with her for unpaid traffic tickets as well and the driver of the car was not arrested. None of them were read their rights at anytime. They were all three questioned as to whom they were purchased from and my daughter was stripped searched as well. They were allowed no phone calls until they were booked in questioned,searched, printed, pictured etc 6 hours later. Is that legal for them to do?
