I wonder why u people feel its not racist?? thankgod you are the minority on this argument.

I mean ur question says it all "If u dont like it go home".

Go home to where my friend?

U slipped up there mate, and youve shown your true colours. Which is exactly the mistake the 3 witches have made in the big brother house.

Im gonna give you a quote from yahoo member "richybaby"

He says...

"THE SAD THING IS THAT FECKING RACISTS CANNOT STAND UP AND ADMIT WHEN THEY SEE ONE OF YOUR THEIR OWN CAUGHT RED HANDED. CHRIST, WHEN THEY'RE ON THEIR OWN AND OUT OF SIGHT ITS PA*KI THIS AND CH*NKY THAT, BUT WHEN THE SPOTLIGHT HITS THEM THEY RUN UNDER THE FRIDGE LIKE THE GODDAMN COCKROACHES THEY TRULY ARE.

This is "todays society".

Your ignorant take on the situation, makes your argument pointless. You say...

"if you are white and insult someone of a different race you are racist."

I dont know about that being the case. This seems to be yet another method of racists covering up the "actual facts".

Shilpa has been insulted within the house. Is that why people are saying she is being racially abused?

No. People are going by evidence of "actual racial abuse."

Jack has called her a "f**kin Pa*i. This is a fact. (go to youtube and watch the footage urself.)

Now this is the only example im going to give. You know why?

Because i KNOW you people are aware of the things being said.

But to be racist in this day and age, is something that actually, RACISTS are not particularly proud of. Doesnt stop them from changing their views though. So the new tactic of the 21st century racist, is to deny racism when they see it and focus on other issues (A cover up). example.....

"Shilpa is arrogant...controlling....etc.

guess that makes the racist comments acceptable right?

Or my favourite one. "What about jermain he called jackie white trash"

White people use that phrase for white people who live on the government to support their drug habits!! (thats just one definition, there are more of similar nature)

Eminem has called himself "white trash".

Jermaine even explained that its a phrase used on the 'jerry Springer show.'

Why don't people like yourself, stop interfering with an issue that is seen as "personal" to many , and needs to be discussed and solved.

The issue obviously doesn't "really" affect you now does it. Well it effects me and many others. So why not give up expressing your pathetic "worthless" opinions on the matter.

your right - it is a load of rubbish no one is been racist - its just dislike of a person - the only person that maybe came a little close to been racist was Jackie - calling her "that Indian" but rather than racist I just found her to be rude more than anything - the girl has a name!! and at the end of the day - she is indian and she looks to be proud of her roots - someone said on the news yesterday that Jodie Marsh was bullied terribly last year - much the same as Shilpa - however no huge deal was made because Jodie is white?? the same thing is happening to Shilpa - not becase she is a different race - just because the other girls are jealous!!

Dan E thats a great reply and completely hits the nail on the head. I've got a first class degree in psychology but I dont think I could have made a better analysis myself. Well done.

Everybody on the non racist side open your eyes and ears and quit involving yourself in the behaviour of denial that Dan E describes in the previous answer.

Your racist just face it and admit instead of all these scape goat tactics...you are pathetic... just like those three racists on BB

It is racist because they are not simply insulting Shilpa with a general remark that could be used to insult anyone, they are remarking on her skin colour and culture specifically. Such insults include: Jo - "Indians are thin because undercooking their food made them ill". Danielle - "She wants to be white. She's a dog." Jade's mother Jackiey refused to learn how to pronounce her name and referred to her instead as "the Indian". These are displays of sheer ignorance and disrespect. How hard can it be to learn someones name? If what you are saying is what you think, then does that mean that when you move to different country you should expect to be subjected to cruel bullying and vile remarks simply because you are not of the same skin colour!! How would you feel if you went to, say, Japan and you were called a filthy pig simply because you were white? Would you say to yourself "fair enough i suppose, it isn't like i was born here i deserve to be called a filthy pig" I DONT THINK SO!!

I don't think they're bullying her for racist reasons but they are mocking her race because they're bullies and can't find anything decent to fault her with.

The media should use this to highlight the problems with bullying in society - many children and adults - white, asian, black or otherwise can probably seriously relate to her experience regardless of their race just because they have also had the misfortune of also being the target of some of society's ignorant bottom feeders.

I think the fact that Shilpa has been singled out for abuse (principally behind her back) by the white girls (excluding Cleo) in the House and that it may, partly at least, arise from Jackiey's initial run-ins with her (she famously referred to her as The Indian on leaving the house and was never able to pronounce her not very complicated name) gives rise to at least a SUSPICION of racism

'Hear Hear' I wanted to ask this question myself but did not know how to put it. Lollipop made a very good point in her first paragraph and somebody ese made a good point if people dont like it why dont they go home. The thing is that Shilpa is so annoying. Her favourite three words are 'I', 'me' and 'respect'. I'm sorry but I'm with the other girls on this one. Shilpa should take her out of her ar*e and start living inthe real world. E.g 'when I walk into a room people stand up and say madam'. How is that for BIGHEADED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i agree that big brother racism is a load of rubbish. it's about time all the racial laws were scrapped. and we could all have back our freedom of speech that this country used to be so proud of. if someone wants to call me a limey bas*ard. another calls me honkey, another calls me an english git.another snowy , and etc etc so what. i would'nt feel that i had the need to go screaming to the media, how petty has this country got. questions in the house. my ar*e. and should i choose to call an oriental a yellow git he would reply and your a pink pig that's life. it's time we stopped having to play this stupid game of charades.

Its been blown out of all proportion. Shilpa hasn't made a complaint to BB about it, so it can't be as bad as the news is making out.

She is being bullied, but i don't think it's racially motivated. Jade & co are just bitchy girls.
