My partner and I spent a lot of time thinking about what to name our daughter and talked to freinds and relatives about our possible choices to see what kind of reactions we got, but would not have dreamed of asking strangers (ie the Yahoo Answers 'community') for advice on such a personal question!!

Me and this female used to be really good friends, even were roommates ( she was a horrible roommate too, used to leave my apartment a mess and let her dog shyt all in its cage all day). I had known her for over 3years and I thought we shared a pretty good bond. That is until she started using me and taking advantage of my kindness, but never being there for me when I needed her, so I decided that the friendship was over ( it got pretty ugly too). Long story short, we fell out of friendship, I tried a few times to rebuild it, but she would just curse me and ask me to forget her number, and so I did. Now, 3mons later I get a text out of the blue saying "Do you want my dog? If not I'm taking him to the home on Friday, because I'm leaving." Honestly, it's a good dog and I'd hate to see it possibly go to the pound and never come out. But I'm wonderign why me of all people was asked to take him. What would you do in this situation? I have my own dog now too?

we dated for 2 yrs but argued a lot.he mentioned marriage.i dumped him out of nowhere.5 months later,we tried to make it work again but break up.i force myself to see other guys,but can't stop thinking of my x.he moves on and starts a new relationship.after a month,he gets in a huge fight with her/tells me he's going to dump her/uses me for sex/next day changes his mind.this shook me bc he's not the type to cheat.she dumps him for other reasons.i later find out from the girl that they never had sex.during this,i meet a guy that's ok,but still not as great as my x.my x sees a new girl but spends way more time with me than her.she ended up going for her x anyway.2 weeks later,my x puts my pics on his dorm wall/wants to hold hands.we makeout.i still love him but am afraid.i tell him i only want 2 b friends with benefits.he confesses that he wants a relationship/says that he won't have sex with me otherwise.i hesitate/he is hurt/ignores me.later,i agree to give him another chance.

my boyfriend and i have been together for almost 2 years now.. we live together and everything is going great.. my parrents are finally starting to like him and welcome him more into their home. the only thing is he has 2 kids which i love..jayvier(5) and dessenya(6).my mother is aware of the situation but my father is not. he's a very serious strict man. i want him to know but i don't want to lose him. what should i do should i wait to tell him more or get this weight off my chest and deal with the consequences? helpp me.. ( by the way i'm 20yrs. old ) this is also hard becasue he still looks at me like his little girl. HELP !!

I'm 15 weeks pregnant and I feel like I look so great. (Maybe I don't, but whatever) Most women think they look terrible during pregnancy, or don't they? Is it normal for me to feel this way? I recently was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when I was 2 months along (runs in the family....not caused by the pregnancy) but, since I've been diagnosed I've had to eat really good, which has made me lose a little over 5 pounds...even though my belly is growing decently...Maybe it's because I lost weight everywhere, except my belly, but I accept the fact it's big because of pregnancy and not because I'm fat. I am 5'6'' and 165 pounds. Sounds big, but I actually look average and wear a size 10/12 pre pregnancy. Did you feel like this in pregnancy, or am I just delusional with hormones?

PLEASE...no nasty comments...I'm not conceited...it's just that I can't believe I feel this way towards myself...I thought I'd hate myself during pregnancy, but it's opposite....has this happened to you?
