I'm 15 weeks pregnant and I feel like I look so great. (Maybe I don't, but whatever) Most women think they look terrible during pregnancy, or don't they? Is it normal for me to feel this way? I recently was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when I was 2 months along (runs in the family....not caused by the pregnancy) but, since I've been diagnosed I've had to eat really good, which has made me lose a little over 5 pounds...even though my belly is growing decently...Maybe it's because I lost weight everywhere, except my belly, but I accept the fact it's big because of pregnancy and not because I'm fat. I am 5'6'' and 165 pounds. Sounds big, but I actually look average and wear a size 10/12 pre pregnancy. Did you feel like this in pregnancy, or am I just delusional with hormones?

PLEASE...no nasty comments...I'm not conceited...it's just that I can't believe I feel this way towards myself...I thought I'd hate myself during pregnancy, but it's opposite....has this happened to you?

i felt beautiful when i was pregnant over this past summer. it was my husbands first, my second but to him i glowed, although i told him it was sweat haha. but seriously i never worried that he was looking at other women like in bikinis because i knew what he saw when he looked a t me and my growing belly. his friends would also come over and tell him that he is so lucky to have a wife who could look that good at 7 months pregnant. I am also not concieted but that is really what happened. but now that my baby is two months old and i was doing her photo album i was putting in my pregnancy pictures and looking back i dont know what they all saw i think i looked like a whale! maybe it is just the pregnancy hormones i just dont know.if you think you look great than yo probably do.

I drank a little my 1st 2 infants , but that used to be earlier than i knew i was pregnant, as quickly as i knew (by 4/5 weeks) i had no alcohol in any respect. With child three i had none in any respect from coming off the pill. I had none considering that i used to be planning to emerge as pregnant, i fell the first month. As it is the meer odor of alcohol made feel ill. I do know people who've drank heavily through being pregnant and the infants had been great however IMO it is no longer worth the risk. 1 girl i do know spent most of her being pregnant drunk, the child has coronary heart issues (he's been adopted) i don't consider there is any proof his problems are linked to the moms ingesting but his adoption is an immediate result. She has 5 kids 3 were taken and are actually adopted, 2 are in foster care and she's allowed access but only if she's not had a drink.

I wish I felt like that! I gained about 10 pounds during the first trimester, and now my weight gain is about 20+ and I'm only 21 weeks along! I feel fat and unatractive. I exercise and eat right, so I think it's just my body b/c I gained about 60 pounds w/ my first. It's good that you feel this way though.

It didn't happen to me during either pregnancy (especially the first one), but I've heard that other women have felt the same way. I didn't feel that I was ugly, but I didn't experience what you're feeling.

You're normal and you should feel beautiful...pregnancy is a beautiful thing. Stay on that "pregnancy high" and don't let anyone bring you down.

Best wishes!

i drank slightly my 1st 2 toddlers , yet that variety into earlier i knew i replace into pregnant, as quickly as i knew (by 4/5 weeks) i had no alcohol in any respect. With toddler 3 i had none in any respect from coming off the pill. I had none because of the fact i replace into making plans to alter into pregnant, i fell the 1st month. as that's the meer scent of alcohol made experience ill. i know people who've drank heavily via being pregnant and the toddlers have been superb yet IMO that's not properly unquestionably worth the threat. a million lady i know spent maximum of her being pregnant under the impression of alcohol, the toddler has coronary heart issues (he's been observed) i don't think of there is any info his issues are suitable to the mothers eating yet his adoption is an instantaneous effect. she has 5 teenagers 3 have been taken and are actually observed, 2 are in foster care and he or she's allowed get admission to yet provided that she's not had a drink.

Not me!! i have gained extra weight, look pale and my roots look awful. I gave up tanning and coloring my hair when I became pregnant. Everything is swelling, especially my feet and ankles. My boobs are huge and look like they road maps all over them from all the veins. My neighbor even told me that she can see all the veins in my face now that I'm pregnant!! Nothing sexy about this girl right now!! I don't care though. Its all about the baby right now, not me. My goal is to deliver a beautiful healthy girl...I'll worry about my looks afterwards!

I felt absolutely amazing pregnant!!! I looked awesome and I felt so "ripe" with life. My round belly was a constant reminder of what amazing things my body can do. I feel the same admiration for my breasts now that my baby is here!

I wore a bikini this summer when I was pregnant and got tons of compliments from people who said they loved the look of a preggo belly!

I say embrace it! It is your own miracle!

During one of my pregnancies I had two different men hit on me. One wanted me to come to his house and wear a swim suit and go swimming in his pool. He said he loved to look at a pregnant woman. I though it was strange.

The only thing I noticed personally is that I didn't worry about gaining any weight because I was supposed to.

Hell yes I was sexy when I was pregnant lol. My BF cannot wait til I get pregnant because he thinks pregnant women are beautiful. Many men and women think a women is extremely sexy during pregnancy. I am glad you feel this way. It is too bad so many women are worried about looking "fat" and do not enjoy that time.
