If a teenage who was a devout Christian became brain damaged so that he was still functional, just highly emotional and childish to the extent that he no longer can practice any sort of faith (for example he plays with toys at Mass, etc.) and no longer has the attention span for complex topics such as religion, would he still go to Heaven, or because he is no longer capable of understanding Jesus's path he has to go to Hell? A similar vein would also be someone with amnesia or multiple personality syndrome. What happens to these people if they meet this unfortunate fate?

It has been said that abortion is worse than war because, in war, you can defend yourself. While it is true that a fetus can't "defend" itself from the needle of cellular death, what about being able to "defend yourself in war?"

Can you really defend yourself from a smart bomb targeted at you?

Can you defend yourself from the tank that is about to crush you?

Could those in Hiroshima and Nagasaki defend themselves from atomic bombs?

Ok, me and this guy were flirting bad one night,and ALL his attention was on me.He didnt give any girl any attention except for this one girl who had to talk to him first.After he said a few things back,his attention went to me again.And later that night,he did me a favor that a boyfriend would do for his girlfriend,even though we werent going out.He had just gotten out of a really long relationship,and I knew that he was still hurting from it,so I didnt want to rush anything.So I didnt make a move on him,and he didnt make a move on me.Well after that night,I find out that he's dating the girl who was also sorta talking to him that night.But he's a really sweet guy,and he hates to hurt peoples feelings,so I think he would say yes just to not sound like a jerk.And ever since that day I've caught him looking at me many times.And one time when I did something well,everyone clapped but he stood up and clapped and sorta cheered.So,does it seem like he likes me or likes her?

I haven't been feeling 100% for a few weeks. I was tested for mono and checked to see if I was anemic. The tests came back negative. Today however, I felt really achey, exhausted (I've been tired for the past little while but much more so today), sore throat, horrible headaches, chest cough and I was cold most of the day when nobody else was. Overall I felt very very ill. I was wondering if I could have the flu. All my doctor said was that I didn't have a bacterial infection. The flu isn't bacterial, right? I feel horrible!

I've noticed a huge trend lately of people using credit/debit cards for virtually every transaction they make, no matter how small. I work in a retail store and people will use them for $2-$3 purchases, which is asinine. Don't people realize that all they're doing is unwittingly furthering the goal of a cashless society and making banks even more money? Of course, there are times when the usage of a card is warranted, such as items bought remotely (mail/internet/phone sales) and larger purchases that you want the CC company's protection for or for something that you don't immediately have the cash on hand. Cards were never really intended for daily, intensive usage; this is part of the reason why there is so much fraud and identity theft. People also frequently live beyond their means with cards, which is another pitfall. I will stick to CASH, personally-no one makes/charges a transaction fee, and companies do not get personal info about me and my buying habits!

There was a tv show in which the main character(s) would occasionally go to this sandwich shop. In the sandwich shop, at one of the tables sat 4 demons who would kvetch about how terrible everything was. They looked like old Jewish guys, but you oculd tell they were demons because they had burned-up wings on their backs.
