I am taking my Bachelor of Psychology from James Cook Uni (australia) and intend to transfer to either one of the above schools. My SAT scores are as such: 690 verbal, 670 math, 560 writing. My current academic results are an average of A, with a GPA of 6.7 out of 7. In high school, I was the Vice Pres of the Student Council, and had done over 200 hours of community work. I have had work experiences as a private tutor and in various organisations (sales, receptionist & data-entry) during my hols. Unfortunately, my high school (i.e. A level results) are atrocious, though my O levels are pretty decent. What are my chances?

Guys,,, I've got an old Remington Model 12 .22 that has been handed down since my Great Grandfather gave it to my Grandpa when he was a boy. I was just cleaning it up, getting ready to give it to my son, (5 generations... kinda cool huh?), and started wondering how old it was. Serial # is 663602. It is stamped with both Remington Arms Co. INC., and Remington Arms U.M.C. CO. INC. Latest patent Date: April 16, 1912. If any of you guys like a challenge, let me know in your answer, I've got an old 1800's Belgian Damascus side by side 12 gauge I need some help with. The gun is in pretty nice shape, but the manufacturer's name is partially rubbed off.

I did some research on this but most sources say things like: "it's all about being able to market your degree" and "there's many jobs one can get".

That can be said about all degrees, but realistically what can one hope for with such a degree? Like is there any job where I can present my resume, and have a good chance of getting a job?

If the cold hard truth is that I cant expect to find anything better than someone with a GED than say so. I appreciate honesty.

I really don't understand why people are so ignorant. I mean no one goes around thinking rock fans listen to good charlotte and linkin park. So why do people go around thinking rap fans are listening to nelly and 50 cent? There were many classics in hip hop back in the 80s and 90s and still some today in the underground. No one knows this unfortunately, people have no idea about what rap was like before all the garbage today. I wish they'd start promoting the real stuff so people will stop giving it such criticizism.

ok: i believe in creation. not evolution. because evolution can't be possible, because monkey+monkey= monkey. there has to be this - monkey+human= monkey/human and so on. so it just doesn't make sense. can anyone tell me why people are evolutionists? it just doesn't seem like it's based on any stable facts.

there is this known Lens magnification formula:
So object to front principal point distance.
Si rear principal point to image distance
f focal length
M magnification
M = f/(So-f) = (Si-f)/f

Can someone describe an experiment to demonstrate that the Magnification for a given lens is dependent on the distance from the lens to the object. thanks in advance.

Hey guys! This is my first question here, so if i do something wrong, please don't flame me.

Ok, say I want to make my own religion.

Do I have to go through some special process to make it "official", or does just believing in it already make it official?

Like say my religion prohibits school on friday or something like that. I tell my principal that i can't go to school on friday anymore, because of my new belief. Does he have to just accept it, or can he do something about it?

Like the Amish can't go to school after 8th grade.

If thats the case, couldn't just everybody make up some totally wierd "religions" that allow them to do bad things, and nobody would have the right to stop them due to "freedom of religion"?

And if they tried to, it would be unconstitutional.
