From a Buddhist perspective, truth about life is all around us and only a good heart and a trained mind can see it. Buddhism is one of the only religions that I have seen that doesn't have a central holy book. The closest thing is the Tripitaka. But even that is seen as not being central. Buddhist feel that there is no need to have truth written down on paper. Its so real that writting it down is a reflection of "truth" and not actually "truth?" Why do other religions feel the need to have a central holy book. Are thier minds so unenlightened that they cannot see the universal truth with their own minds and hearts?

i have been searchin for pet insurance and the sites are talking about me paying 100percent and then possibly they will give me 80percent back!!!!that is not insurance that is reimbursement..insurance is when for example i pay a co-pay ammount and they pay the rest not me paying everything and then maybe theyll give me my money back,why i think they may try to scam me into saying "oh we cant,for some dumb reason"it sounds real scandolous to me.any opinions on this?????

We have lived in this rural area for almost a year and every so often you see a deceased deer on the shoulder and I wonder how the car made out? Cause they say that we have a large population of deer in this area and to always be on the look out to the point that I am almost paranoid.

I heard of people honking, and slamming on the brakes and of course-going around them if you have time.
Has anyone come in close contact with a deer and what is the safest thing to do in this case?
