You will need to get in touch with your local IVF clinic - there are some private and some NHS ones aswell so check with your local authority. They will do a load of tests for things like genetic diseases, hepatitis, HIV etc etc (although with you already having children they may not do that i'm not 100% sure on that). Then yes you will have to either inject yourself with hormones or you can sniff aswell. The time you have to do this will depend on how your body reacts to the drugs so it could possibly be up to 2 months. I cant see them making you take it for much longer than that as if its not working by that point then it never will. You would be taken in for internal scans at regular intervals to make sure everything is growing the way it should aswell. Once everything is at the right stage you will be taken into hospital put under anaesthetic and the eggs taken out and given to another couple - or maybe more than one!! Thats basically it but the drugs can make you feel like you have permanent PMS, and also hot sweats!!!!
The only other thing is now the law has changed so that any children born from your eggs have the right to find you in 17 years time so you should really think carefully about that aswell. Finally thank you for wanting to do this to give another couple the chance to have the baby they may not have been able to have otherwise x
(You could also have a look on www.ivillage.co.uk at some of their message boards as they have loads of people who have gone through this kind of thing!)

Depends if you're in the UK or USA - in the UK there is an article about this in the latest issue of Cosmo, i read it only the other day (it was either Cosmo or Glamour, pop down to a newasgents and have a look).
The woman had to take hormone injections for four months I think it was, and was stroppy and snappy like constant PMS that whole time. She produced 12 eggs though and made two women very happy mothers.

from what i understand, you get a sonogram of your ovaries to see how your ovaries look, then you undergo hormone treatments so your body builds up alot of eggs, then you go into surgery for the doc to remove the eggs, ive heard it can be pain full, best bet is to call a egg donation place and have a doc there tell you the way it happens. i think there is also a age limit if your over 30 they won't take you unless your undergoing radiation therapy or something extreme that could cause damage to your ovaries since fertility declines around 30-35.

I have done egg donation twice. You have to inject medication once a day for about a week or so, then twice a day for 9-14 days. Then the retrieve the eggs surgically. great sources of info are

http://www.greateggs.com

And if you want to donate let me know. I can get you in touch with a great agency. :)

Obviously you will have to wait until this pregnancy is over and you have finished breasfeeding. Then you would need to do the injections - as you say, it's like IVF withouth the reimplantation.
You might have to have counselling before hand because the child can contact you when he/she reaches 18.

When I looked into it, I was told that they would have to match me up with the woman who would be getting my eggs. Then, we would both have to go on fertilization drugs to get our cycles the same, a minimum of 2 months. Then they would harvest the eggs. HOWEVER, it only paid $2000 and there would be a chance I would be sterile afterwards.
