I'm looking for some songs that I can possibly sing for my Senior Choir Audtion in March. I'm currently a Junior, and I'm currently singing Alto in a SATB choir. My range is appx. F3 - F5.

I'm planning on auditioning for the Senior Choir in March. I need:

Two songs for open audition (by different artists)(March 15)
One song for first callback (March 30)
One song for second callback (April 14)

So, basically I need four songs. One song that I was considering using would be 'Children Will Listen', from Sondheim's Into The Woods (Sung most notably by Bernadette Peters, starting in 1988).

I used 'Children' as my solo piece for our winter concert in December.

If anyone has any suggestions, I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks!

Cheers,

Rosefern

I like to think I take people at face value but underneath I think its part of human nature to judge on firt instincts.

Do you do this and do you feel bad when you find out you get it wrong?

Alright, so tomorrow I am adopting a beagle from the local animal shelter. She was found as a stray, and I went to see her today, and she is the SWEETEST thing ever. She even crawled up into my lap when we were playing. So I need to do some shopping so that I am ready for her when she's able to come home. The things I know I need to get for sure are:

Toys, leash, collar, food/water bowl, bed (any special kinds?)

Those are the only things for sure that I know I need,

so I guess what my question is out of the things listed, what else do I need? And are there any special kinds of the stuff I know I need that I should get?

Does anyone know anything special on beagles? I think I have heard that they like to talk....? I am not entirely sure

So any help you guys have to offer would be GREATLY appreciated because I am honestly at a loss of what else I need for her haha

Thanks!!

I ran into the bodega to pick up some groceries and it turned out I'd left my wallet and credit cards at home. I offered to put the things back since I only had $4 and the groceries came to $20. The man who works there has been flirting with me for a long time and he just let me have the groceries for free and refused to let me pay another time. HE just voided it out of the cash register and handed me my bag of groceries for free. Have I gotten myself into a difficult situation with this?

I have a baby girl who will be a month on the 14th. She woke up this morning with a thick crust running down her cheek from her eye, which isn't red itself. But it was seeping so I wiped it with a clean warm washcloth about two hours ago and massaged the tear duct a bit. But now her eye has a thick line of pus running all the way across(she's sleeping). It's so thick you can't even see her eyelashes. Should I take her to the emergency room tonight or wait for her doctor's office to open monday?

Me (atheist) and my Christian fiancé always are told that we shouldn't get married, because according to Christians we are 'unevenly yoked'.

My girlfriend and me both agree on the fact that neither of us is able to know the full truth about the 'god/no god' question. Which means our future children will be very open minded to all possibilities.

So, how can the Bible say that 'unevenly yoked' is a bad thing? Is it really bad to learn from other peoples experiences? Does the Bible have such little faith in its followers faiths, that those same followers should avoid non-believers like the plague?

(If you are gonna answer this with "your fiancé is not a true Christian", please remember that judging is not your job. And if you judge another Christian on his or her faith, that makes you by definition not a true Christian)

I doubt there are many WW2 era Americans surfing the web, but you never know. Besides, I might find a history buff.

When I took History throughout my school years, I always thought that one of the reasons America declared war on Germany was because of the Concentration Camps and Hitler's Genocide campaign.

When I watched the "Band of Brothers", it seems that the concentration camps were discovered only after Germany was invaded by the Allies toward the end of the war.

My question is, in 1941 and 1942, what was America's primary reason for declaring war on Germany? Was it because of the atrocities against the Jewish and other people or was it simply because Germany invaded Poland, France, etc...
