Heres the deal, im not a Bush supporter at all, that may be irrelevant. Well i am constantly thinking about joining the Army, im now 17. My future worries me however, i need a way to pay for college and the Army seems to have a good plan with that. Afterwards i may want to teach history, or a foreign language. Certain elements have made me reconsider though, how tough will it be? Im a pretty small guy and will it get me normal size or bigger? Will i be deployed? Will i hate it, 4 years wasted? Will i make friends there? Will i see terrible things i only imagined in hollywood?

One things for sure, i dont know what i want to do with my life at this point, i dont want to rush through college and pay all that money to make a mistake ill regret, but once again theres those two on the balance, and i dont know which one weighs more, it would be an honor to serve my country, i dont really believe in the cause right now, soldiers dont ask questions though.

Will i make it? Will i survive?

Hey everyone, just needed some advice. My bf and i broke up today due 2 one of his female friends that he calls a 'best friend". She says things about me 2 him and he comes back and tells me about it. Well, a few weeks ago she said 2 him " You should be with me, not her." and recently was giving her daughter a b-day party and told him " I want you at the party, and dont show up with ur gf , I dont like her." Everytime I ask him about her all he says is "I'll handle it." To me, I would like 2 what exactly is I'll handle it? Then today she calls and I answered his phone, told her she wasn't around, you know very polite. Well the girl has her best friend call to speak to him and her best friend asks to speak to me. He hands me the phone and she starts going off. I told her very politely that i wasnt cursing at her & she kept going so i called her a few names and hung up. So I tell him its me or her. Point of the story, we broke up & now he talks 2 his "best friend" again. What u think??

I posted a question about an hour ago that i have a condition that makes me very fatigued and weak by the end of the day so I cant really go out at night since its gotten worse, and i was wondering if it was right that my fiance to still be going out a few nights a week to bars when nights are the only time i get to see him because he works 9-9. he always asks me to go out with him and once in a while i feel good enough to go out, but most of the time not.
In your answers a lot of you said that its not right and i should tell him how i felt, so i called him. He got upset, saying he doesnt go out that much, etc. I was nice about it, i told him i thought it was important that he sees his friends and stuff but that ive been feeling hurt by it and i thought it was time to tell him. Its like he tried to make me feel guilty!! I wasnt trying to tell him what to do i was just expressing my feelings!! We ended up yelling at eachother and i hung up. What should i do??

I work for a global corporation- and would like to apply for a job within the company in another country. This job is in a different dept. The procedure is to send our CVs to the local HR manager.
If I do not tell my boss that I am applying for another position- is the HR manager oblicated to tell him? Or should I tell my boss that I am applying for the job? (Do not want to incase- I do not get the job and then get fired.) Or is it 'safer' to apply for jobs in another company?
