I need advise how to repair or rectify this problem. It seems very simple mechanism install behind the cabinet that now unable to dry up the humidity level. I have a multi-tester but don't know how to use and which component to spot for replacement. Please I need your help.

This dry cabinet is for storing camera and video recorder to protect from humidity. But I realised,the humidifier meter indicator is out of range and cannot be corrected. And I also noted that the heat is generated from a unit inside the cabinet. What I suggested was, if I could uninstall this unit and check which of the component that causes the malfunction, it would saves me alot.

It sounds like you have to remove it or put in a hole to access it. You have to vent it anyway or you'll burn up your electronics. I fried a DVD that way. If there's little room you might be able to extend the tester leads.
