Highlight what you want on notepad and copy by holding the "ctrl" key down and hitting the "c" key. Then while you are in another program or on the message board, put your cursor where you want the message to be and hold the "ctrl" key down and hit the "v" key to paste.

If you don't know how to highlight something, you can do it by taking your mouse and placing the cursor at the front of the part you want highlighted and while holding the left button down, drag it to the end of what you want hightlighted.

Another way to highlight is to put your cursor at the beginning then hold the "shift" key down while you tap the arrow key to take you to the end of what you want to highlight.

You should highlight the message (or select all from the edit menu), copy and then click into the message board box where you want to post it and hit paste. All of these items are on the edit menu.

Assuming you have the document open in Notepad:

Choose "Select All" from the "Edit" menu.
Choose "Copy" from the "Edit" menu.

Go to the message board and when you open the posting form, click in the text area and then:

Choose "Paste" from the "Edit" menu in your browser.
