I like to make a Southwestern mac and cheese by using monteray jack and asiago cheese in the cheese sauce, and adding a little bit of pureed chipotle pepper into the sauce as well. Then, I use a corn macaroni and mix it with black beans before baking it in the cheese sauce. Yum!

if you're asking what's good in macaroni-- try tomatoes and basil, oregano, garlic & cheese. I think I would live off of this in winter for weeks in college. It's addictive!

a can of stewed tomatoes and a little garlic powder, basil, thyme, onion powder, any spices youn like.......add browned hamburger to this and you 've got a skillet supper.
make pasta salad with fresh chopped colorful veggies, black olives, green olives, ranch dressing.
