What should i do about the blackbird which has decided to make a nest outside my window?

It's chicks keep waking me up at 5 :15 every morning and i am constantly thinking about what should be done.I was thinking of feeding them grain until they get fat so then i could cook them and pop them into a baked potato so i could eat them.

Desk Partner....?

I work first shift and I have to share a desk with the Second shift person, who is fairly new, so we havent been sharing more than i would say three months. i have always used the middle drawer, i have my personal belongings, plus office belongings in it. when my desk partner first got here he started using it as well, i never said anything but it really bothered me, as i had personal stuff in there (there is no way to lock it) so anyway i took out my personal things and left only office things just trying to be reasonable, now i am noticing things like my pens and pencils being chewed on...i definitly do not do this. how should i handle this situation. he has an option to use his own drawer but for some reason has always used mine. i dont want to be rude about it, but its so unsanitary. any thoughts??

How can you tell if you're being sabotaged at work?

There is a very nasty little imp at my work. She tells the bosses every move we make thinking it'll get her ahead. I told her what she could do with her attitude about a year ago - it shut her up for a while.

Now the angry beast has woke up and she's ready to fight again. She goes from saccharine sweet to nasty biatch in 5 minutes flat - even insult you to your face and making a log of what everyone in the office does. Immature stuff.

When is the boss going to see this and let her go???

If i look into a mirror at 3 feet away, does somebody else see me at that distance or do they see me at double

Since the light reflecting off me must travel first off my skin, then to the mirror, then back again.... that's a total of 6ft.... but i'm only 3ft away from the mirror...
Does a mirror duplicate distance?

Who will join me in my boycott of Shell?

I had a Shell gas card for about 5 years and was never charged an annual fee. Then in June, I received my statement which included a $25 annual fee. The reverse side of the statement had instructions to write a letter if I wanted to close the account and avoid paying the annual fee. I wrote the letter and then received a letter back saying the account was closed as requested. Now they want me to pay them the $25 plus late fees and they reported it on my credit that I have an outstanding balance! I wrote to the disputes department but that didn't help either. I spend way more than the measly $35 they want, and they just lost a loyal customer. Please join me in my boycott until they repair the damage they did to my credit report. Smacking - anyone get the slipper growing up?

How times change! Was all the rage in the 70s, with Beano characters being whacked on a weekly basis. My husband got it at school and my mum kept a flip flop just for smacking (yes, social services have been informed!). Has slippering died a death or just gone underground like dog fighting?

Is he playing games with me?why is he doing this if it's as he said he's not interested at all?

My ex bf broke up with me 2 weeks ago. It's weird that he didnt block me on aim since it seems that he wants me totally out of his life. When he broke up with me he was very firm begging me to let him go and stuff. After the break up, the only convo we had was a week ago on aim and he was very cold too. After that I felt akward since both of us are on aim for hours and dont talk to each other. So I let myself disappear by being invisible. Then i noticed that everytime my ex signed in he only stayed for like 5 minutes and then signed off. This is weird b/c when i was visible both of us would be online for hours. I dont know why he does this now. Is it possible that he is looking for me?but he never talks to me when he can see me online. i just wonder why he is doing this sign-on-sign-off trick. Btw, the reason of the break up is he doesnt want a relationship right now, which i believe him. he really has trouble balancing everything in his life.He's a senior in college and i'm his 1st gf
