20 gb ipod thats in good condition as a gift to your gf?

Never re-gift. You can give it to her, sure, and I know she'd appreciate it. But don't wrap it up as a birthday/holiday gift. That is tacky.

Depends on how long you have been dating....if under 2 years don't do it!.....and if over that then do it with caution,personally i wouldn't give a gf/bf anything used as a gift...now if it's a "just becasue" gift then sure give it to her but not for a b-day or anyhting like that

No. If she doesn't want it, then you can give it to me. Here is an idea. Put songs that you know she will like on it and then give it to her.
That is the real point of a gift. A gift is something that you want to give somebody. If she gets upset that you gave her what you wanted to give her sing her "Cold hard *****" from Jet as you kick her out of your life.

Not if she knows it was yours and you are just giving it to her for no reason.
If you wrap it up as a gift for some occasion, though, it is very tacky. I wouldn't advise that.

Yes. You can give it casually one day, but as for a wrapped Birthday present or Christmas present, it is tacky.

(1) make sure that there aren't any songs in that ipod
(2) make sure that it's in good condition
(3) make sure the ipod's color is the color that she likes
(4) make sure to use wrapping paper to make it looks like a brand new ipod
(5) Do not tell that it's a used ipod...... or else from your gf.....

Not really, if thats all you can afford and if she is an understanding person I'm sure she will appreciate it. At least your thinking of her, thats what matters.
