Well it in all honesty you should have tested a spot first but seeing you didn't, Do you use Hair color treatments on a regular basis? Or did you buy CHEAP hair color ? I know that you are suppose to wait 6 months before you re-color your hair.
What I would do is either one or 2 things, not that this would be healthy for your hair, either Bleach it even lighter or Go Darker to try and hide the flaws.
By bleaching your hair and I do not mean using Bleach, I mean go very very light with it or go Darker. This way it will cover up the mistakes.

If all else fails go to a professional hair dresser and have them fix the problem if it can be fixed.

I..Don't think I'd try to do anything more myself at home with it. Cause' there's just no way to know what could happen to it. Sorry that happened to you.

I would think, try conditioning it really well? Because well conditioned hair always has a Softer, nicer look.

Maybe a professional could add some low lights.

But is there really a great difference between blond and yellow, when ya think about it?

You're natural color will come through as it gradually fades out, and even if you have a natural brown color? That might fade out to a nice golden brown.

Sometimes that's even nicer than blond, it's gentle on the complexion.

I don't know how long I tried to get stylist's to do mine a golden brown, and they refused!

Whoops! We acidentally dyed it blond again! How could that have been any accident, it took double processing, which they charged me for.

I stayed away from them, but I've finally got my favorite color now! Golden brown.

thats actually normal for someone with blonde hair to get darker as they get older like for instance angelina jolie when she was young she was a blonde like her daughter shiloh..i had the same problem the hair dye that i had used was the clairol born blonde maxi and it said no longer they 90 min and when i took it out i had light blonde hair and some orange strands. i guess some peoples hair is harder to strip then others. the best thing to do would be to wait a couple of days and deep condition your hair then just bleach over where it is orange make sure not to overlap to the lighter shade or you might get alot of breakage and once its all one even color then tone it down if you don't want to go thru the bleaching i would go to a sallys beauty supply store or any beauty supply store they have and purchase a ash base toner to neutralize the orange in your hair you can buy a semi permanent like natural instincts but i don't think it works as well as the ones at a beauty supply store.good luck

Oh boy..... As a hairstylist I have to say this should have been done in a salon. NEVER strip or BLEACH your hair at home. What you probably need (without looking at your hair) is a toner put on it. I would suggest going and having this professionally done. If you strip and or bleach your hair then color and re color it your going to end up with major breakage. DO YOU WANT TO WALK AROUND LOOKING LIKE SOME ONE CUT PIECES OF YOUR HAIR OUT??????

honey i am a hair colourist and can tell you that to get rid of the yellow tone in your hair you need to add ash tone to it go and buy an ash toner and put that in while your hair is wet leave it on for 20 mins then wash your hair with a silver shampoo the ash in both of these will neutrilise any yellow in your hair if that doeasnt work you will need to go to your hairdressers to get a colour correction done but please dont put any other harsh chemicals on it to try and fix it as it may snap off good luck honey hope this helps

Go to a professional. I turned my hair green one time so I strongly feel that the professional is the best choice.

I would either go brown or have it done blonde professionally. You're not going to get it right with an at home product.

Sounds like you went too light. Go darker and maybe an ash shade. Don't leave it on too long (maybe only 15 min. or so) and you could do it right away.
