In april this year, i would have completed 4 years as an unmarried partner of a person present and settled here. (me Asian, my partner french, residing in the UK). The letter states that i should be eligible for indefinite leave to remain (permanant residence) in April. However, i have heard that the rules have changed for work permit holders, and that instead of 4, they have to now wait for 5 years before applying for PR. Does this also apply to my category ? i am really confused and cannot understand the website material. Please help ...

Nine months after moving out, getting involved with another woman and claiming that he was not sure and didn't want a divorce when I asked him for one, he now says that he wants a divorce but doesn't want me to have full custody. I would give him liberal visitation. He has been diagnosed with Nacrccisitic(sp?) Personality Disorder. Not that this in itself is a problem but if he has the kids for two week, he is actually home before they go to bed maybe five of the fourteen nights. He hired a part-time nanny to pick up the kids and he travels all of the time. I also think that he is gay or confused. He has dumped the girlfriend and spends a lot of time with this guy "paul" and the both of them now wears clogs ( that is merely a jab at them and kind of funny but true.) My 12 year old son's father has promised to take my son hunting for the past 2 years, but his promises have been empty ones. I've told him if he waits around for his dad to take him then he'll never go hunting. (you have to know my ex....) So, my boyfriend asked my son to go after getting camo gear for Christmas. He's been twice w/my boyfriend and my son absolutely loved it!! My son never told his dad he went and has just found out about it. He called my boyfriend and griped him out for being disrespectful that it is a father-son thing he was going to do w/him and told him never to take my son hunting again. Instead of being excited for him, he made my son feel bad about going. I told my son that no one can tell him not to go and if the next time he asks him to go....would he do it and my son said yes. Do you think it was wrong for me to let him go w/my boyfriend? Was it wrong him his dad to be so angry about it?

Today, my husband and I were driving home and my husband was telling me some things like, how he wanted to buy me some things to make me smile. How he wished that everytime he got payed he would have enough to buy me something. I was stupid and jumped to conclusion that he only wanted to start buying me things because he was guilty of something. He said no, that he always thinks of things like that but does not say anything because he would keep it to himself. He also added that he was trying to talk to me and make conversation, i guess he was trying to open up to me about how he felt and what he thinks. I screwed up. He then raised his voice and said that he wont tell me anything about how he feels anymore. I feel like an idiot. Will he ever open up to me again?

So, we go to club car. "While drinkin vino, I start to lighta my biga cigar. The conductore, he wagga hissa finger again and say, "No smokin in dissa car. Musta go to smokin car. We go to smokin car and I smoka my biga cigar." "Then my beautiful Virginia and I, we go to sleeper car anda go to bed. We just about to go boomada boomada and the conductore, he walka through da hall shouting at da top of hissa voice, "Nofolka Virginia! Nofolka Virginia!" "Next time, Ima gonna takea da bus!"
