Today, my husband and I were driving home and my husband was telling me some things like, how he wanted to buy me some things to make me smile. How he wished that everytime he got payed he would have enough to buy me something. I was stupid and jumped to conclusion that he only wanted to start buying me things because he was guilty of something. He said no, that he always thinks of things like that but does not say anything because he would keep it to himself. He also added that he was trying to talk to me and make conversation, i guess he was trying to open up to me about how he felt and what he thinks. I screwed up. He then raised his voice and said that he wont tell me anything about how he feels anymore. I feel like an idiot. Will he ever open up to me again?

Forcing him will only shut him up more and make him mad.
Why can't you women just accept the fact that guys are more concerned about what you think of us than anything else? That's why he's so scared to tell you anything. Look how you react.
Once he can finally learn to trust you with his inner thoughts your marriage will get better. Honest.

let him know that you are sorry about it. soon enough, he will come around and he will talk to you again about how he feels. try not jumping to conclusions too fast.

You have messed up things,now make up for them.Try gaining his confidence back.Listen to him silently when he talks,without interrupting and appreciate what he says.

Apologize...respond to his earlier thoughts...open up to him too so that he knows that you are in to open conversations. ;)
