In all probability: K-L-A-H-W-O-O-D (a soft R). The name sounds as if it originates in one of the Nordic languages (probably Swedish) which uses a defined "K" sound.

I would say it rhymes with car. Mind you, it depends how old the name is because it may well be the original rhymed with 'clair'.
Think of:

Come with me and be my love
And we will all the pleasures prove.

'love' and 'prove' no longer rhyme but at the time this poem was written, love was pronounced the same as proove--'loove'

Car with an L. If there was an 'i' in it or an 'e' after klar, then I would pronounce it the other way.

I would say "clair," but it makes sense either way.

First one, because if it should sound diffently than that, it should have been spelled differently.
