Doesn't this somehow subvert the democratic process. If we as people vote for certian taxes why should someone spend those taxes trying to get them lowered and then write it off?

I have been so lazy in my prayer life, and I do not go to church as I find most of it boring, and I do not read my bible as much as I should. I have had a very close walk with Father, and in return has blessed me with dreams and visions from him. Now since I have gotton lazy is that walking away from God? I am not doing it on purpose. I am worried if I died I will end up in hell. I love Jesus and believe he died on the cross as we all would be going to hell if he did not come onto the world. I believe he is the son of the living God, and I have repented for most of my sins. I feel that this may not be enough. Even going to church you are not gauranted to be saved. I am not a church goer. Each to their own right? Anyway I want genuine replies only, no smart asses. Christians if you are not going to be genuine do not respond, because if you do judge, you are not the christian you thought you were, you would be a hypocrite instead. Nice christians only please.

So me and my bf been together for 3 1/2 years, since i was 15, for the last 8 mo. we have been in the process of breaking up,still tryin to hold on the the little bit of love thats left, so i packed my bags and went to hawaii to live and really think about what i wanted out of life... not promising to come back but not saying i wont. 2 months in to me leaving i find out i am 10 weeks pregnant.
so we talked about trying to work things since things arnt all about us...it worked for maybe a cuple days but i jus realized i just dont want to be with this man well i should say boy any longer, ive grown up and hes still the same person i met when i was 15.
there is no way we can work this out, there is no trust or respect in this relationship, i dont belive i can ever trust him again ive been trying for ever but he jus keeps giving me more and more reason to dis trust him
why wont he try to get his stuff 2gether not 4 me 4 our child? and should i try to raise my child by myself?

I've been wanting to learn a martial art since I was very young, however my parents couldn't afford classes. I'm 24 now and trying to get back into shape. I know there's women's self defence classes and all, but I want study an actual marital art, not just learn a few moves. I'm a bit worried because I'm not as fit or as flexible as I once was, but I'm willing to work to regain those things.

If Iran's leaders are as fanatical as they appear to be they are clearly too dangerous to be allowed to continue their nuclear development.

I have to think of a theme to explore...

Any suggestions? It can be basically ANYTHING...be creative!

I'm thinking of investigating it through digital photography, so a theme that could fit in with that would be great!!!!!

1. I'm going ice fishing!
A blonde who got a fishing rod for her birthday decided to go ice fishing to make good use of her gift. Early the next morning, she got all her gear together and headed out to the ice.
When she reached her final destination, she cut a large hole in the ice and dipped the rod in. Then suddenly she heard a voice that said: "There are no fish in there".
So she moves to another spot and cuts another hole, but then the same voice spoke again and told her there were no fish in there.
So she moves again, and the voice tells her there are no fish in there. So she looks up and sees an irritated man staring down at her.
"How do you know there are no fish there?" asks the blonde.
So the man cooly says "Well first of all, this is a hockey rink, and second of all, you're going to have to pay for those holes."
