Simple. You need to be familiarised on this places first or get a pamplet or brochure of famous buildings or sight seeings in singapore from either the library or the tourism department. Once you are set & freely memorised this places then you are ready as a tourist guide. Another added criteria is to know foreign languages. Get employment in a travel agency - that's the best way. Otherwise visitors may be uneasy if they are approached by strangers wanting to show them around. "Touts" in any city generally do not have a favorable image.
