Kind of sort of after Katrina we felt as though we were.We were all over the country checking on children and how they were and then getting ourselves situated..We weren't really living in the car but sure
felt like it.. we have friends that now building that live on the side of a mountain .For the last few months or maybe longer than that while they build there cabin..they have lived in a tiny trailor and seen to be quite comfortable. Also I have known people that lived in vans that seem to enjoy it.. Also people that love camping its a most excellent way to live.. Just make sure you are in an area that doesn't get too cold or if you do make sure you have provisions for the cold and plenty of wood to burn or something that keeps you warm..Sometimes its hard but i would think somethings are easier than others. You can bathe at truck stops like the truck drivers and you can buy food and cook it on a grill at a roadside park there are millions of ideas ..and great websites online that provide info on this.. hope this helps

I lived in a panel van for a couple of months. It was awful. I wanted to find out what it is like to travel and live in it instead of staying in hotels or caravans. I remember the mosquito's very well when it was too hot to close up and find suitable flyscreen.
