I guess they have some sort of macho standard that they have to live up to, that's why gay guys can express their love, because they don't have to live up to the macho standard!!!!

Some don't find it hard, the ones that do, it's an ego thing. They don't want to seem like wimps, or they don't want to be labeled as soft, but that doesn't matter too much now a days. Men see women love affection and a lot of them show it, mature men anyways. Just make sure the woman isn't crappy. Because you know the good guys get the bad girls in many cases, men love it, but sometimes ends up down a rough road, same thing with girls who like bad guys.

Because men learn from early childhood to stifle all of their emotions except anger and joy. It's the equivalent to the message women get to be thin and pretty.

Love is ownership, to Men. They like to be the one, in charge. Being, "In Love". Makes them feel like they'e being owned by someone. Just understand that it's a natural emotion. (Love) And enjoy it. Some aren't so lucky. Congrats!

men are more direct whereas love is a game, it requires a ritual, it needs a lot of foreplay. Boys today are more result oriented, they want more game (girls), but they don't want to play the game and enjoy the game and savor the game. They want quick result and to increase the score, but do not try to make the game interesting either to themselves or to their mates.

...because there is always the possibility that they will get hurt and that would bruise their ego; better to be safe than sorry, and keep feelings to themselves.
One way to help a guy express his feelings is to just stare at him and smile until he starts talking...and trust me...nothing makes a guy talk more than a beautiful smile staring at him!!

Its simple some women are emotional and some men are too... but dont get me wrong there are lots of women who dont exspress there feelings too so it goes both ways...
