i know i will. i celebrate it every month. and on a clear night, to stand and look up at it with a cold glass of wine, cider or whatever in my hand....well, it has a certain kind of magical atmosphere about it.

I am a very open minded secular person who is spiritual but not religious. My girlfriend is from a different denomination an comes from a religious family. We have been together for 7 years and gone through lots of hard times trying to balance each other's religious views.

We had planned an engagement in the coming summer and marriage few months later. Pre-ceremony jitters are normal things to a degree but my girlfriend has freaked and called everything off including the relationship, citing our religious differences as a causing factor, which she says makes her unhappy.

Broken hearts are one thing, but this is something I wasnt ready for. I have been with this woman for 7 years and we would already have been married were it not for our college studies. My parents (who are religious) initially were skeptical but have come to love my gf while her parents have always been apprehensive towards me and sometimes question the union.
Please help!

What i mean is, if you're lets say, a Michigan Wolverines fan, but she's an ohio state fan, would you try to make her change, and root for Michigan?
*any sport,any team...just making her change to your team*

or would you let her root for who she likes and not try to change her.

I have a rare nerve condition and fertility problems seem to be common with women with the same condition. Anyway, after seein a gynae and having tests, things came back 'normal' not early menopause, eggs in ovaries, hormone levels as they should be etc etc. However, since I miscarried 2 years ago, I've only had 2 periods. (hence tests etc) I was wondering if anyone had experienced similar fertility problems and if so, what should I expect? Is there anything that I can do myself also, to increase ovulation?

I have 47 purple toes growing out of my head. Will you accept this on faith? Why not? All of my family members know I have them. I've been on the news. Do you believe me?

If not, then how do you expect me to believe in god? With evidence perhaps? But I thought you were supposed to believe without evidence. If you can believe god with no evidence, why can't you believe me with no evidence. Or do you need evidence to support your faith?

My cat is getting old. We're not sure how old she is, but we've had her for 12 years. She is getting to the point where she isn't taking care of herself (doesn't clean herself), she has stopped using the litter box, and has recurring upper respiratory infections. I'm taking her to the vet tomorrow because she is hiding under the table and won't come out to be petted or anything. So, my question is, should I talk to the vet about euthanasia? She doesn't have cancer or anything like that, but I can tell she is miserable. I feel bad that I'm even thinking about it. I know that part of my reasoning is that she pees all over my carpet, but it's also because she is just not the happy cat that she once was. Have any of you had a similar experience?

I used EverFresh makeup SPF 14 by Maybelline, and they have now discontinued the product. im pissed! It is the only foundation type/concealer I have ever used because it was soooo light on my face. I bought two other kinds of foundation and they feel so thick I cannot bring myself to wear them. The Everfresh was like a tinted lotion (a bit thicker...) but it was like I wasn't wearing anything. Do you guys know of anything like this? I've tried their pure makeup, their dream matte mousse... but haven't tried any other brands. Thanks for your help.
