i had this problem since i started having periods.... until after i had my baby & started using paragard..... but anyway, this was the norm for me, it's not considered normal, cause alot of women don't usually go thru this, but i did.... severe cramps, clotting (thick dark clots, nasty!) & my periods would last a week or longer..... go to your doctor & see if they can't give you something to help out, a friend of mine had to be put on a birth control pill to regulate hers, & it helped her alot, so talk to your doc, this may help you too

Every woman's body is different. I think it is normal, mine often does the same.
But if you are concerned, you might want to go the doctor.
Hope this helps and that it's nothing serious.

When in doubt, get checked out! A dr can prescribe meds to help control that. Just don't let it get too far, it could be something serious. When a woman thinks something is wrong, HELLO, it probably is, that's why it's called woman's intuition!
