As long as he is over 18 years old I'd say go for it. While you may not see a lot in common, keep talking and you are bound to come across something. You already like the feel of each other. It would be ashame if he were the "one" and you never gave him a chance.

Talk to the guy? Ask him what's going on? Is the friendship leading somewhere? Are you just hanging out? You aren't gonna know the answer to it until you ask yourself about your feelings for him and ask him how he feels about you????
