I was just wondering what people think of this.
Here is the verse where God told Eve her punishment for her part in the whole tree of knowledge fruit heist (in two translations):
NIV
To the woman he said,
"I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing;
with pain you will give birth to children.
Your desire will be for your husband,
and he will rule over you."
KJV
Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
He told her that He would increase her pain in childbearing. That's what the NIV says, anyway. The KJV puts it a little differently, so I'm wondering if there might be more than one meaning.
But anyway, assuming this story is literal, could this suggest that Adam and Eve had children while they were in the Garden?
