Liberals, will you please read this and what do you have to say about it?
First off my wife reminds me it is better to be part of the solution, not part of the problem. Having said that I apologise for all the bashing I have done to your ideology. What I would like to know is...

I read posts in this fourm where people say the war in Iraq is all just for oil, the point in it self is debatable to say the least. So let me ask this way, if the worlds oil came to a sudden halt, what do you think the implication on every economic structure would be? The simple fact there is war for any reason saddens me greatly. When I was young and in collage I too believed in the ability to change the world. I still do believe we, and each individual can make a differance, the thing that changed is the realistic understanding that it comes in time, and is a very hard road. So what are we to do. until we rid ourselves of oil dependancy we are between a rock and a hard place. Please give me your thoughts what ever they are.

They both have their flaws...they are, at the end of the day, human...all of them.

But...just a point of Democrats...one of our WARships was attacked, the USS Cole....OoOpS Clinton was in the White House then...I guess then we can blame him for the 17 sailors who died that day.....can't we??
But I don't remember anything memorable being done...but then I guess they rewrote the books that attacking a US warship isn't an act of war anymore!

Both parties have flaws...but if you don't like the system...you can always leave...

It's your right to protest, complain, and yes....leave!

Well, it's now the Democrats' turn to show us whether they should be ragged on. The difficulty in the past 6 years in trying to rag on Democrats is that they have not exactly been in power. Now that they are, it may be a lot easier to find legetimate fault.

I am way more liberal than most democrats (and in fact have joined the virginia Green Party), and have alreayd been quite disappointed with the democrats in the Senate who voted unanimously (except for two absent) FOR Gates' confirmation! So I suspect if this is any indication, I'll be doing plenty of ragging, except from the left persepctive instead of the right.

Because they cant offer any solutions to our current problems to get votes so they think if they are constantly ragging on the republicans maybe they can get votes that way. Then all the Dem's in TV LAND believe every word they say whether its backed up with fact or not.

working4peace2007 post your own question, quit stealing threads! lol

republicans make it easier, by having more flaws to rag on.

for example:
-being against gays and all of their rights, but then being caught in a hotel with a man and a bag of meth.
-being against clinton's anti-terror proposals, but enacting them for bush AFTER 9/11.
-being the party of personal responsibility, and morales, and lying constantly.
-being republican, and increasing the power of the central government more than any president before you.
-claiming to be fiscally responsible, but then running up the bills, and letting the dems pay them.

All politicians have flaws. I try to be moderate but both sides like attacking the other. Its just the nature of things.

Democrats are perfect okay how many flaws did Clinton have? Zero otherwise he wouldn't have scored with Monica.

If they didn't want to be ragged on, they wouldn't have stalked underage pages, been sent to prison, ran up the debt, started an unnecessary war, been indicted, resigned...
