I am in love with this one guy, but he likes this other girl. He never seems like it though, because he doesn't want to ever talk to her or anything. He just likes her secretly, well at least he did. I am not totally positive that he still does. I really like him. What should I do?

Well, he likes her, well not REALLY secretly, but he doesn't like everyone to know he told me and a few close friends. it just spread kind of, and the person he likes knows too. all she says is ew thats weird if people tell her that. once when i called him, his mom asked him who it was, and he said a friend. and one time i said something about him not being my friend. (through email) and he was like WHAT? i am your friend aren't i? and also when he found out that i wasn't in a high class the year before, he was like WHAT!!? your'e so smart though! i'm not sure if he still likes that girl, or if he likes me or what. help please!

He has a problem, a fixation. Sometimes as troublesome as a ghost. He has what he perceives as an unattainable love.
I don't doubt your love for him. This is the proverbial triangle
She on the other hand most likely is not aware of him, or if she is , doesn't care.
You must face him and tell him to take the shot and that you will not compete for his affection.
He will never appreciate you until he feels the lost of a real love, you.
Then if he returns, you may have his full attention and be the source of his fantasies

Girlfriend,if I was in your position..I'd give him sometime to think..after-all,remember he likes the other girl secretly...But u should try this..don't get in his way,don't call him on (phone,e-mail)Now I said these two things to see now much if he loves u.Wait and observe..if he calls u,twice a day,and try to get in your way..he loves u..then u decide to take a next step..but move slowly,smart and like an undercover girl..doing a "Love detective Job".Now I know u really like the guy..its not easy to face someone u love and say "I love u"but if u know this has trouble I would advice u to stay away.Sometimes people need to let go what they really want or who they really love...until u found it in your heart that u need to take the chance..

I don't know how you know he likes someone else if it is a secret, but I'll assume you're right. In that case, you would potentially be letting yourself in for heartbreak if you actively pursue this right now.
Let's say he can't get together with the secret love, but takes you out instead in the meantime. Then later he can get with her and dumps you. Or let's say he never gets with her, but still secretly adores her. Either scenario spells heartbreak for you eventually.
In my experience, the best thing to do is smile, be friendly, let him know there is some interest there in that way, but let him make the first move. That way if his interests really do change to you, you will know it because you did not push anything.

Hey,before you done something that would make you feel ambarassed,than you should check on your feeling first...
1.Do you absolutely convince that you love this guy???
2.Find out "the other girl's" feeling
I Think if the answer of my first question is Yes,and you already finds out that maybe the other girl doesn't likes him,then you should go for it!!!
Don't make you suffer in your feeling,,,Just think 'bout the conseQuences,OK????

You should tell him how you feel. If he only likes the girl secretly how do you know about it? If there is nothing going on between him and the other girl then go for him. Good luck!
