Some people say that we didn't have the technology to go to the Moon in 1969, but if you actually ask people involved in digital imaging, they will confirm that we didn't have the technology that would have been required to produce fake video and photos.
I followed the American and Russian space programmes and watched these amazing events take place.
With regard to your question, you are actually asking two things:
Q1) How many trips to the moon did we make?
Assuming you're only interested in manned flights, the answer is that there were 9 Apollo missions that were flown to the Moon between December 1968 and December 1974.
Apollo 1 did not fly. Its crew members were killed in a fire on the launch pad during testing. Apollo 7 and 9 both flew in Earth orbit. Other Apollo missions were unmanned.

These missions flew to the Moon:
1) Apollo 8: Launched December 21, 1968. 10 orbits of the Moon on Christmas Eve
Frank Borman, James Lovell, William Anders
2) Apollo 10: Launched May 18, 1969. Dress rehearsal for the Moon landing
Tom Stafford, John Young, Gene Cernan
3) Apollo 11: Launched July 16 1969. First manned landing on the Moon.
Neil Armstrong, Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin, Michael Collins
4) Apollo 12: Launched November 14, 1969. Landed.
Pete Conrad, Alan Bean, Richard Gordon
5) Apollo 13: Launched April 11, 1970. Moon landing aborted. Crew flew around the Moon and returned to Earth.
James Lovell, Fred Haise, Jack Swigert
6) Apollo 14: Launched January 31, 1971. Landed.
Alan Shepard, Ed Mitchell, Stuart Roosa
7) Apollo 15: Launched July 26, 1971. Landed.
David Scott, Jim Irwin, Al Worden
8) Apollo 16: Launched April 16, 1972. Landed.
John Young, Charles Duke, Ken Mattingly
9) Apollo 17: Launched December 7, 1972. Landed.
Gene Cernan, Harrison Schmitt, Ron Evans.

Q2) How many times did we actually land on the Moon?
The answer is that there were 6 manned landings on the Moon; Apollo's 11, 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17.
The total number of different astronauts who flew to the Moon is 24.
21 have orbited the Moon.
12 have landed and walked on its surface, of whom 9 are still alive.
3 have flown to the Moon twice.

6 Apollo missions actually landed on the moon: Apollo 11, 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17. 3 more missions went to the moon without actually landing: Apollo 8 went around the moon and back, Apollo 10 tested the lunar module in orbit around the moon (Apollo 9 did similar tests but in orbit around Earth), and Apollo 13 failed landing but still went around the moon on the free-return orbit that brought it back to Earth.

And it would be nice for all those nay-sayers who keep repeating that the lunar mission was a hoax would stop believing this revisionist garbage and get a life for a change.

The custom of a “honeymoon” began over four thousand years ago in Babylon. When for a full lunar month after the wedding, the bride’s father would supply his son-in-law with all the honey-beer he could drink. It was called the “honey month.” The word honeymoon didn’t enter our language until 1546, and because few people could afford a vacation. A honeymoon didn’t mean a trip away from home until the middle of the nineteenth century. These days, the traditional holiday taken during the weeks following the wedding is usually referred to as the honeymoon period. One of the first references to a honeymoon is in Deuteronomy 24:5.

I don't really believe we have ever, the technology wasn't available, heck we can't keep a shuttle from blowing up.
